Holodomor Memorial to Victims of the Ukrainian Famine - Genocide of 1932-1933

The memorial was built to honour the millions of victims of the Ukrainian Famine-Genocide of 1932–33 and educate the American public. The man-made famine in Ukraine was engineered and implemented by Stalin's totalitarian regime. The grain field motif on the bronze bas-relief symbolises the peasantry as the main victims of the famine catastrophie.
