VIDEOS: 30 years since the Baltic Way, that impressed the world

23 August 2019: 80 years since the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and 30 years since the Baltic Way that demanded its public disclosure and condemnation.

Two million Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians stood together in the Baltic Way wishing for freedom, independence and the ending of the injustice created by Nazi-Germany and the Soviet Union. The biggest lesson of the treaty that divided Europe, started the Second World War and mass repressions: free nations and their leaders should have the courage to stand up to aggressive ideologies and regimes that devalue human dignity and freedom.
